Virtual Reality and 360 images and videos are fast becoming learning tools in a tech enriched classroom.  Many companies have 360 content on their websites or uploaded to YouTube.  The New York Times saw the potential for 360 video to add depth to the stories they cover.  Enter the NYT Daily 360

The Daily 360 is a vehicle teachers can use to bring students into the subjects and places discussed in literature and textbooks.  Using phones, tablets, or computers, students can look around immersive videos that puts learners at the center of the scene and allows them to look left, right, up, down and even behind.  These videos often come with a voiceover and text graphics offering more details and insights.
