Keeping track of students through PowerTeacher Notes features. Fortunately, PowerSchool and PowerTeacher have built in features that help teachers keep track of additional information on students performance. Hold for applause...       The switch to the old version of powerschool happened this morning.  Unfortunately, none of your grades are there.  I am so sorry for this.  I know this creates some extra hours of work for you.  I feel terrible about all of this. Google Docs is an amazing tool for collaboration.  The ability to share documents through the cloud proves ueful time and time again.  However, as with most technology there is a learning curve and mistakes and misunderstandings are to had.  Writing out explicit instructions, making how to videos, or pointing users to Synergyse is helpful.  Learning shortcuts to help teachers and students is even more so.  One great short cut is using a FORCE COPY feature of Google Apps for Education. The idea is simple.  Create a link that forces every person who visits the link to create a  copy .  This can be done with any of the GAFE suite.  Here is how it works: copy   the link from the Create Sharable Link ...
