IT Ticket Request ...

Admittedly, I am an excellent tech coach (and modest), but occasionally my peeps at PUSD have questions or problems that I just can't answer and we have to call in the IT big guns.  Fred and his crew are at your fingertips, but you have to know how to get a hold of him.  An email, though a great tool for communication, is not the best way to ensure our technology problems are solved.  It is necessary to go through the IT ticket system.

A short cut for this system is located on your desktop:

Double clicking on this icon will take you to the web based IT help desk interface.  The system is easy to manage, but there are two places where faculty and staffers trip up.

First, make sure that you are in the IT help request, not Maintenance.  You can tell the difference by the overall look of the request form and by the tab at the top of the page.

Once you have completed all the sections of the request form, be sure to use the password PUSD (in all caps) where it asks for it.

Once you submit a request, you will receive email updates when your request is received, assigned, and completed.
